About

I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Michigan Department of Astronomy, where I work with Prof. Oleg Gnedin. Before coming to Michigan, I received my B.S. degree at Peking University School of Physics in Jul. 2020. My current research focuses on the formation and evolution of star clusters in cosmological context. Click here to see my research in detail.

Current

Globular cluster formation model
With Oleg Gnedin

Based on a globular cluster (GC) formation model, I use the data from Illustris project to analyze the GC distribution in Milky Way-like galaxies and compare our results with Gaia. Click here for more details.

Giant molecular clouds with different initial density profiles
With Hui Li and Mark Vogelsberger

I use a moving mesh, hydrodynamic cosmological code AREPO (Springel 2010) to investigate the effects of initial density profiles on the evolution of star clusters in giant molecular clouds. Click here for more details.

Previous

Pre-burst stage of gamma-ray bursts
With Bo-Qiang Ma

Based on the cosmic light speed variation, I suggest a possible pre-burst stage for gamma-ray bursts. I also use a primary clustering method to classify this stage via the data from the Fermi observatory.
